Finally completed after 7 months in chain hell!

Just wanted to share some positive news because this forum can sometimes feel doom and gloom.

We completed today on our 3-bed semi in York after SEVEN MONTHS in a chain of five. We had a buyer drop out (replaced within 2 weeks), a survey scare (turned out to be nothing), and a solicitor who went on holiday for 2 weeks without telling anyone.

The keys are in our hand and I'm writing this sitting on the floor of OUR living room eating pizza. It was worth every stressful moment.

If you're in the middle of a nightmare chain — hang in there. It does end.
