New build snagging list was 47 items long — is this normal?

Just had our snagging inspection on a new build 3-bed in Milton Keynes (Taylor Wimpey). The inspector found FORTY SEVEN defects. Including:

- Bathroom tiles not grouted properly
- Kitchen worktop scratched
- Window that doesn't fully close
- Paint runs on every single door
- Boiler pressure valve pointing wrong way
- Cracked drain cover
- Uneven paving on the patio

I mean, some of these are cosmetic but the window and boiler ones feel serious. The site manager seemed annoyed when I handed over the list.

Is this a normal number for a new build or have we bought a lemon?
