Renters Reform Act — what's actually changed so far in 2026?

I keep seeing articles about the Renters Reform Act but I'm confused about what's actually in force vs what's still coming. Can someone give me a straightforward summary?

Specifically I want to know:
- Is Section 21 actually gone yet?
- Do I have a right to keep pets now?
- What about the landlord register?

My landlord is still threatening me with a Section 21 and I don't know if it's valid anymore.
